Visa and Migration

Visa

Foreigners intending to study in Azerbaijan must obtain an appropriate visa prior to arrival in the country.

Citizens of countries eligible for e-visas can apply and receive their visa within 3 hours or up to 3 days by visiting http://www.evisa.gov.az. Detailed information is available on the website for foreigners and stateless individuals interested in applying for an electronic visa.

For citizens of countries without access to e-visas or where there is no Azerbaijani Embassy, visas are issued through the visa section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan. They can collect their visa from the nearest Azerbaijani Embassy or Consulate.

The International Student Admissions Affairs Office at Western Caspian University provides comprehensive support and assistance to international students with visa-related matters.
