I had the incredible opportunity to study the Azerbaijani language at Western Caspian University this year. It was an amazing experience, not only for the academic learning but also for immersing myself in a new culture and meeting wonderful people in Azerbaijan. The staff at Western Caspian University were exceptionally friendly and supportive, always there to assist me in any situation during my time there. I am truly grateful for their kindness and guidance. Special thanks to Ms. Sevinj, the Head of International Relations, and Mrs. Jale, our lecturer, for their continued support. If anyone is considering studying abroad, I highly recommend Western Caspian University. You won’t regret it! Azerbaijan is a country rich in history and natural beauty, and I learned so much about the local culture and cuisine during my stay. Lastly, I want to thank all the friends I made in Azerbaijan who made my experience even more memorable. Thank you, Western Caspian University, for giving me this beautiful opportunity. I hope to return to Azerbaijan soon!

My name is Andrew Banda, a Zambian national, and I studied Biology at Western Caspian University. My time here has been incredibly enriching, from hands-on learning experiences to supportive faculty who nurtured my academic and personal growth. The university's diverse environment allowed me to connect with peers from various cultural backgrounds, broadening my understanding of global perspectives in science. I am grateful for the knowledge, skills, and friendships I’ve gained, which have prepared me for my career.

My experience in university was transformative as it fostered personal growth. Coming from India there was a lot of excitement and nervousness. Adjusting to a new academic system was challenging, as teaching methods, grading styles, and expectations were different. However, this environment also encouraged me to learn to fit in and be comfortable. This taught me independence and resilience.  

I got to meet awesome people from around the world and collaborating with them enabled me gaining a fresh perspective. This multicultural environment helped inculcate open-mindedness, respect, and an appreciation for differences. The journey was filled with moments of discovery and self-growth.
