Visa

300 USD for Invitation (sticker education visa) (It takes 3-4 weeks to get a confirmation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan)

Upon their arrival to Azerbaijan, foreign students must be registered with a place of stay (during 15 days)
There is no state fee is required for foreigners’ and stateless persons’ registration upon place of stay. Follow the link https://migration.gov.az/?lang=en
Western Caspian University’s International Relations Department provides support and counselling to international students pertaining to registration and visa issues.
Temporary Residence Permit
Upon arrival to Baku, Azerbaijan students should contact with University (International Relations Department) for signing a contract with the University and for support obtaining a permanent residence permit.
List of documents for obtaining a temporary residence permit after arrival.
1. Approval Certificate from Registered Residence 20-30 AZN (10-20 USD)
2. Medical Report from International Medical Center (hepatitis B, C and HIV) - 85 AZN (50 USD)
Visa and permits
Upon their arrival to Azerbaijan, foreign students must be registered with a place of stay.
For this purpose, a student himself or management of the place of stay (apartment, hotel) should submit the following documents to the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan via www.migration.gov.az or email qeydiyyat@migration.gov.az or in person.
Additional documents needed include:
- a copy of student’s passport and
- a competed application form
the Unified Migration Information System registers the applicant's place of stay and informs about it within 1 working day.
Foreigners and stateless persons are registered for the following periods:
- Persons arriving with visa for the period of stay indicated on visa;
- Persons arriving under visa-free regime–for 90 days.
·No state fee is required for foreigners’ and stateless persons’ registration upon place of stay.
When a student changes a place of stay he/she should get registered according to the new place of stay, as mentioned above.
